Whitfield Advantage Insert, circa 2003.

We can't find a detailed view of the rear of the unit. Is there any way to replace the igniter without pulling the stove out? If we have to, we have to, but I thought I'd check prior to attempting THAT!

Haven't tried to shove the stove around in the opening (pretty close fit), but I think it may not be bolted down. I assume with the weight of the unit, it could be a possibility.

If we DO have to pull it out, any tricks to realigning the flue connections when we put it back?

You will need to have access to the back of the stove remove the auger motor off the screw auger using a allen wrench now you will see the back of the igniter located in the center bottom of the fire wall (be sure to unplug the stove) carefully using a socket turn the igniter counter clock wise careful not to strip the threads to re-install reverse process. Before you attempt to replace the igniter check the fuse first and also using a volt meter be sure there is power to the igniter the igniter may be good it may only be a blown fuse.
